Dr. Kapil Kochhar is a leading minimally invasive and bariatric surgeon from India with more than two decades of surgical experience and more than 7000 laparoscopic surgeries to his credit in India and abroad. Having graduated from the prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi in 1990, he has worked with top most hospitals of the country both in private and public sector. He did his post graduation in General Surgery from Maulana Azad Medical College only.
Dr. Kochhar has been a pioneer in introducing laparoscopic surgery to even the remotest areas of north India. He travelled extensively various small cities in Bihar, Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttranchal, Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir and even Manipur to impart laparoscopic training to numerous young surgeons and gynaecologists.
Dr. Kochhar has been performing all advanced minimally invasive surgeries including bariatric surgeries and laparoscopic cancer surgeries on patients from India as well as other countries.Just to name a few, he has been routinely performing sleeve gastrectomy, laparoscopic hiatus hernia repair, laparoscopic adrenalectomy, total laparoscopic hysterectomy, laparoscopic abdomino perineal resection(APR).
